Overview
Teal Cedar Lumber specializes in top-quality Western Red Cedar products for some of the world's select distributors,
exporters and remanufactures.
For over 60 years the Jones family has been cutting Western Red Cedar on the banks of the Fraser River on Canada's west
coast. This dedication explains Teal Cedar's long standing status for high quality products in the world markets.
Controlling its supply from the source (TFLs, TLs & FLs) affords Teal Cedar a unique advantage over other manufacturers.
While still in the forest, whitewood (Hemlock, D. Fir, and Spruce) logs are tagged and directed to whitewood mills and
cedar logs are slated for cedar mills and specialty cedar cuts. Cedar logs are further assessed for their finished
product value. Cedar shingle logs are selected away from cedar saw logs on the river ahead of the mills and directed
to the appropriate facility for production. It sounds so simple, but Teal is the only major forest products company that
has this ability. No other company has the combination of size and versatility to control their own logging, milling and
finishing over so many species. This process enables the mills to add value to their product even before manufactured.

Rough Dimension Ready-for-Remanufacture Lumber as well as Export Grade Clears and Tight Knot Finished Patterns and Sidings.
Teal Select
is the newest addition to the Teal's product line.
This 4 square, eased edge, tight knot decking in sizes from 2 x 4 through 2 x 12, is available kiln dried or green. This product is exclusive to Teal and provides the assurance of superior quality that customers expect from the Teal brand.
Teal Cedar offers mixed rail car loading, trucks, piggy back vans, export containers and vessel break
bulk shipments on any of our products.
