Overview

The Teal-Jones Group is committed to sustainable management of the resources under their stewardship in a scientifically credible and environmentally, economically and socially responsible manner.

Certification is a means of protecting forests by promoting responsible and sustainable forest management and the production of sustainably sourced wood products. Certification provides an independent third-party assurance that a forestry operation or forest product meets standards set by a certification program.

On our forest lands, The Teal Jones Group has achieved Canadian Standards Association Sustainable Forest Management (CAN/CSA-Z809-2008) certification on Southern Vancouver Island and in  the Fraser Valley. For more information on Teal’s sustainable forest management and certification read more under Sustainable Forest Management Certification.

Our wood products are certified under the PEFC Chain of Custody System.  For further information please read more under PEFC Chain of Custody.
