POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will provide quality operational repairs and preventative maintenance services. You will be responsible for all Planer machinery and duties including:
- Maintenance of pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains, bearings and hydraulics involved in the manufacturing process;
- Undertake preventative and predictive maintenance program for equipment;
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to assemble equipment and follow work procedures & processes;
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the assembly, installation, set-up, and repair of equipment and machinery;
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions;
- Troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose, lubricate, and perform maintenance work on machinery;
- Repair and assemble hydraulic equipment and cylinders;
- Assemble large, precision heavy equipment for the Lumber/wood processing sector;
- Utilize knowledge and skills to recognize opportunities for improvements and savings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Journeyman Millwright certification;
- Ability to read blue prints, plans and schematics;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently with little supervision;
- Previous experience in a Planer Mill or heavy industry preferred;
- Shift work is required;
- Organizational and planning skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Millwright is to keep all production machinery and equipment throughout the mill in good working condition. It is essential to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, repair and replace machinery, parts, equipment, in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, including the following:

- Ability to work independently with little supervision;
- Previous experience in a Saw Mill or heavy industry preferred;
- Organizational and planning skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Salary: $42.88-$47.88 per hour

We are currently seeking qualified Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians (Mechanic) to join our fast-growing team in Surrey, BC Canada.
Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians (Mechanic) is to keep various mobile equipment throughout the site in good working condition. It is essential to manufacture, overhaul, troubleshoot and diagnose problems, recondition, and repair equipment, that is powered by internal combustion engines including the following:
- Maintain mobile equipment, Boom Boats, heavy logging (loaders, grapple) and forklifts for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions;
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using deduction and testing equipment to determine extent of repair required;
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools;
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets specifications;
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
- Undertake preventative and predictive maintenance program for equipment;
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to assemble equipment and follow work procedures & processes;
