The Teal-Jones Group’s Greentree Lumber in Mississippi is a vertically-integrated logging and milling operation specializing in large timbers for both domestic and export markets. It cuts and mills Southern yellow pine, one of the strongest and fastest-growing species of wood available.
Applications
Fed by larger native pine typically grown for 50 – 100 years, the division’s specialty mill can cut anything up to 12×12 in diameter and 44 feet long. Its timbers are used domestically for specialty industrial products such as railway ties, elevated housing, marine seawalls, and foundation piers, with the side cuts used for construction dimension lumber. The company also mills specialty products tailored to export markets including the Caribbean, Europe, and North Africa.
Grades
We are devoted to producing a quality product and ensuring consistent grading standards. Products are kiln dried to help minimize warping and shrinkage associated with green lumber, and for long term stability.
